Square Enix, developing with ARTDINK, released the Dragon Quest – HD-2D Erdrick Trilogy Collection on October 30, 2025, bundling Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake with the newly-launched Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake for $99.99 — a discount against the $59.99 each game costs on its own.

The bundle went live digitally on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and Xbox at launch, with a Steam listing following once Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake reached PC. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake itself also received its own Switch 2 edition as part of the rollout.

Packaging all three Erdrick Trilogy games together gives newcomers a single purchase path through the HD-2D versions of the series' founding trilogy, following the same lighting and pixel-art treatment Square Enix debuted with Dragon Quest III's remake and carried into the joint I & II release.
