Persona 4 Revival gets a February 2027 release date
Revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase, the remake brings back the returning-favorite Baton Pass mechanic and renames Persona 3 Reload's Theurgy system to Series Finale.
Atlus confirmed Persona 4 Revival will release February 18, 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC, with the reveal made during the Xbox Games Showcase. The game will be a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass.
The new trailer confirmed the return of Baton Pass, the series mechanic that lets a character hand off their turn to an ally after landing a One More hit, carrying accumulated bonuses with it. It also confirmed a returning ultimate-attack system built on the Theurgy mechanic introduced in Persona 3 Reload — renamed Series Finale for this release, tied to Persona 4's own cast and story beats rather than a straight reuse of the Persona 3 version.
Persona 4 Revival is a full remake rather than a remaster, following the same treatment Persona 3 Reload gave the series' third mainline entry. Atlus has not yet detailed how far the remake departs from the 2008 original's story structure beyond the confirmed mechanical changes.
